Crop Insurance Agent, Futures & Options Broker, Grain Marketer
Rick has 18+ years of ag risk management experience. He brings expansion opportunities into the fold geographically and through product diversification, with 10+ years of crop insurance sales and servicing, on both the agency and the AIP sides of the industry. Rick is passionate about building relationships with his producers, getting to know their operations & families, as well as helping them achieve their long term goals.
When not at work, Rick can be found spending time with his wife and 4 children. His favorite activities include serving at church, coaching baseball, attending sporting events, (especially when his beloved Badgers are in town), hunting, fishing and generally anything outdoors. Whenever possible he’s chasing the elusive snow-flake on his snowmobile!
Futures & Options Broker,
After seeing his dad run a successful commodity brokerage for most of his life, Eric joined the team, bringing 15+ years of customer service experience with him to Lohse Commodities in May 2015. He and his wife Christy, both native to Windom, returned home shortly after to continue raising their 3 children and to begin laying the groundwork for expansion of the brokerage into Midwest Ag Advisors today. When not busy chasing kids and coaching hockey, Eric is searching for snowmobile seat-time.

Keith, (“the rock”), is as steady and true as it gets. Dedicated to his family, this community and his clients. Keith has tirelessly come to work for almost 4 decades, seeking to serve his clients with sound trading execution, market knowledge and risk management advice. Integrity would be his enduring offer to clients. Give him a call, he’ll listen.
Futures & Options Broker
During most of the last 3 decades, Daryl has been by Keith’s side, faithfully serving clients in much the same way, at least when he isn’t in the field or volunteering his time in the Windom community! He is an invaluable team member, experienced trader and farmer, but most importantly, a dedicated family man. Speaking of family, have you ever tried Betty’s desserts? We’re pretty sure that’s why Daryl adds so much flavor to the office!
Deb joined the team in Sept. 2017 bringing with her 21+ years of experience in crop insurance sales and service along with agricultural financing. She has built strong relationships over the years and looks forward to working with those clients as well as building new relationships and helping producers with their risk management needs. Deb has been very active in the county fair and is a member of the Freeborn County Ag Chamber Committee. In her spare time, Deb enjoys working on crafts, going to concerts and watching/attending bull riding events.
Joining the team in April 2017, Amy brings 8+ years of crop insurance service and experience to the Midwest Ag team. Growing up on a small beef/grain family farm and now being part of her husband’s family farm she has learned the value of family and hard work. She demonstrates that passion through superior client and policy service.
When not working, Amy is spending time with her husband, son and extended family. She enjoys any outdoor activities, especially boating, golfing, ice fishing and snowmobiling.
For 40 years, Lohse Commodities has been serving clients in the Windom area with consistent and reliable futures and options brokerage transactions. As a small business owner in Windom, Keith Lohse has been a mainstay with many of the farmers and livestock producers throughout Cottonwood, Jackson and the surrounding counties. In the last 2 years, we have doubled in size as Eric Lohse returned home to join the team as an owner in addition to bringing with him his partner, Rick Warner, a long-time family friend, crop insurance agent and commodity broker.
